Day 34: Laurel Fork Falls

I slept well last night, having the shelter to myself.   The terrain today was different than most of the previous trail.   I was at elevations of 3200 to 3500 feet most of the day.  Lots of streams.   At the end of the day was the very steep, knee killing, stone step descent to Laurel Fork Falls.   This came at the very end of an 18.5 mile day and just wiped me out.

I am tent camping beside the stream in the gorge about a mile below the falls.   Made freeze dried lasagna in tortillas for dinner, hung my food and will now crash.  It is almost 7:30.

Trail goes on that little ledge around this rock.
